It has been brought to our notice that a particular message containing the names of Momodou Sabally and nine other individual’s expulsion from the United Democratic Party is being circulated. This has prompted us to verify the authenticity of the said message.
We have found out from the party executives that the message is false.
Momodou Sabally, one of the individuals mentioned has confirmed the falsehood of the message circulated.
We have also identified the following to confirm the falsehood of the message;
1. The particular message is not found in any of the official pages of the United Democratic Party.
2. No media house has aired such a story.
3. No individual of a strong connection to the UDP has it posted on any of their social media handles.
Conclusion
With the points stated above, we have confirmed that the message circulating is false and it’s not from the United Democratic Party.
